Monkey Bikes

The Edworthy Monkey Bikes:
A charming new addition to the Powerhouse Museum's bicycle collection are two miniature bicycles—a single road bike and a tandem—made for monkeys to ride at the monkey circus at Taronga Zoo from 1936 to 1940. A special arena was opened at the Zoo in 1936 with one famous cyclist, Mabel the Monkey who was dubbed by the media of the time as the ‘Zoological Cycling Champion’. The monkey bicycles were built by Silas Edworthy, who was not only the 1911 NSW
State cycling champion, but also a successful Sydney bicycle manufacturer and innovator. The monkey bicycles have been donated by Ken Edworthy, the grandson of their builder.
They've got this thing too...

Not this one though.
